Judy and husband Harvey Sanderson have been interested in pure bred dogs since they started showing Labradors in 1964. They are both founding members of Mid Jersey Labrador retriever club, founders of Labradors Retriever Club of the Potomac and members of the parent Club, Labrador Retriever Club Inc. Judy was a member of the 4 person team that put together "The Visualization of the Standard" ( a description and slide show to explain the standard) for AKC and the Labrador Retriever Club Inc.

Judy has been the breeder and , for the most part, owner handler of a good many champions. Both she and Harvey have won at Westminster Kennel Club and the Philadelphia Dog shows. Harv has been the trainer and has had a High In Trial, Labrador with a life time average of 193.8. Their dogs have been drug dogs, and bomb dogs. They have been in commercials and movies ("Fatal Attraction"). They were the foundation stock for Seeing Eye's breeding program, and now are part of the foundation for the breeding stock of a colony of dogs for the handicapped. (Service dogs). Steven McDonald (the celebrity quadriplegic police officer in NYC) has one of their dogs in service.

Harv suggested we add another breed to our family and after reading an article on Lundehunds in Dog World Magazine, they decided to buy one. Judy and Harv had the 6th lundehund in the country. After visiting Norway to gain the breeder's counsel approval, they founded the NLCA,the first lundehund club. Harv did everything. He was membership chairman, he was the registrar, he was the secretary and treasurer. Judy was the back up. When AKC took lundhunds on as foundation stock, Harv stepped down. Unfortunately, the new directors did not has the same vision that Harv and Judy did. The rest is now history. A new club had to be formed and Harv and Judy are glad to be a part of it.

Currently we have 4  lundies...Two boys..one is 6 months old and one is an adult. Two girls.  Xena is 13 and Ellie is still of breeding age
