February 11, 2010 - The Board of Directors of the American Kennel Club have voted to approve the Norwegian Lundehund for full-recognition! The breed will be registered in the AKC Stud Book beginning on December 1, 2010. The breed will then be eligible to compete in the Non-Sporting Group beginning on January 1, 2011.

September 5, 2008 - The Norsk Kennel Klubb has changed their website address. The new address is http://lundehund.no
May 9, 2008 - NLAA is working with AKC Canine Health Foundation (CHF) to establish a 'donor advised fund'. This initial amount was combined with the Frank Bays Memorial Fund for a current total of $1,390.00. AKC-CHF requests a minimum of $2,000 to establish a donor advised fund. November 13, 2007 - the AKC Board of Directors voted (unanimously) to approve the Lundehund to move into the Miscellaneous Class effective July 1, 2008. They also confirmed the NLAA will serve as the Parent Club.
October 8, 2007 - the AKC Board of Directors reviewed the Lundehund & the application to move forward into the Miscellaneous Class effective July 1, 2008. We're expecting this to be voted on at the November meeting. Click HERE to see the Board meeting minutes.
October 18, 2005 - AKC/FSS announced that NLAA, Inc. has been recommended to serve as the breed Parent Club for all Lundehund issues in the United States!
