Step 3 - Full-recognition
February 2010 - the Board of Directors of the American Kennel Club voted to approve the Norwegian Lundehund for acceptance into the Stud Book as of December 1, 2010. The breed will be eligible to compete in the Non-Sporting Group beginning January 1, 2011.

Step 2 - Miscellaneous Class
November 2007 - the Board of Directors of the American Kennel Club voted to approve our application to progress towards full breed recognition.
